Pseudomonas aeruginosa morphological change upon 0.5µg/ml Ceftazidime – Filamentation


In this video is shown a timelapse of Pseudomonas aeruginosa treated with 0.5 µg/ml of Ceftazidime, a βlactam antibiotic that inhibits the cell wall biosynthesis. As a consequence of the treatment cell filamentation is observed.
