เป้าหมายเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนคืออะไร แล้วทำไมเราทุกคนต้องสนใจ
ผู้นำประเทศสมาชิกของสหประชาชาติ (United Nations) เห็นตรงกันว่า หากเราต้องการพัฒนาโลกให้ดีขึ้นสำหรับทุก ๆ คนอย่างยั่งยืน ภายในปี 2030 เราต้องดำเนินการตาม \”เป้าหมายเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน\” (Sustainable Development Goals: SDGs) ทั้งหมด 17 เป้าหมาย

สันติภาพจะเกิดขึ้นได้อย่างไร อาจารย์ ปริญญา เทวานฤมิตรกุล, รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายความยั่งยืนและบริหารประจำศูนย์รังสิต และอาจารย์ประจำคณะนิติศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ชวนให้มองเห็นถึงความสัมพันธ์ของสันติภาพและความยุติธรรมผ่าน
เป้าหมายที่ 16: สันติภาพ ยุติธรรม และสถาบันที่เข้มแข็ง (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions)

การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนระดับโลกอาจฟังดูยาก แต่หากเราร่วมมือกันตั้งแต่วันนี้ ความสำเร็จก็อยู่ไม่ไกลเกินเอื้อม
เข้าสู่ทศวรรษแห่งการลงมือทำ (Decade of Action) เราจะร่วมพัฒนาไปด้วยกันและจะไม่ทิ้งใครไว้ข้างหลัง

What are the Sustainable Development Goals and why should we care?
Member States of the United Nations, or UN, discussed and agreed that, to ensure a sustainably better world for everyone by 2030, 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) need to be achieved.
Let’s look at the SDGs through different facets of the letter P. The 5 Ps that group different Goals are 1. P PEOPLE 2. P PLANET 3. P PROSPERITY 4. P PEACE and 5. P PARTNERSHIP

The SDGs cannot be realised without partnership and cooperation between all sectors. Khun Gita Sabharwal, UN Resident Coordinator in Thailand talks about Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals
Sustainable development on a global level may sound ambitious but it is not impossible if we work together today.
