The instruction ‘after you use the inhaler brush your teeth or use a mouthwash’ is not quite right. What you actually need to do is rinse your mouth AND gargle because of the risk of thrush in your throat and around your vocal chords. PS I am a doctor.

I'm not sure these directions are correct….all other instructions for med's based on this type of inhaler (such as Flovent Diskus) always, and stress the point, to keep the inhaler dead flat, i.e. horizontal. In this video he holds it vertically, and clicks it, which I believe will only cause the med's to fall to the back inside of the unit vs. into your body. Just my 2 cents…check the instructions that came with your specific prescription.

What happened to the need to hold the Diskus horizontal or flat when you load the medication and when you inhale? I believe this video is incorrect. Viewers need to look at other YouTube videos regarding using these Accuhaler's.
