Video kali ini adalah bagian pertama.
Script dan storyboard merupakan bagian yang penting dalam proses pembuatan video. bisa di bilang kalau script dan story board adalah fondasi untuk membuat sebuah video. Proses pembuatan scrip ini sebenarnya sangat sederhana, kita hanya peru menuangkan apa yang ada di kepala dalam bentuk tulisan. Hal yang paling susah adakah mencari ide untuk video. Sebuah ide dapat dimulai dengan halhal ang kita sukai, contohnya disini saya suka fotografi oleh karena itu video saya selalu berhubungan dengan fotografi.
Untuk storyboard, kita hanya perlu merubah bentuk tulisan tersebut menjadi sebuah gambar yang sederhana. yang penting kita mengerti maksud dari gambar tersebut.

Making a storyboard before shooting a movie is like drawing a blueprint before grabbing a hammer and nails. Do it well, and make sure your film is structurally sound.
Step 1: Pick aspect ratio
Pick an aspect ratio for shooting.
Tip
The aspect ratio is the physical proportion of the image you’re capturing, measured horizontally then vertically. Most television is 4:3 and film is typically 16:9.
Step 2: Multiply the ratio by ¼ inch
Multiply the dimensions of your aspect ratio by a ¼ inch.
Step 3: Draw frames
With a pencil and a ruler, draw out boxes, called frames, on 11by17inch paper. They should match the dimensions from Step 2, and there should be at least four frames on each sheet of paper with a fair amount of space under each for script, directions, and notes.
Tip
You can also draw these boxes using a computer layout program.
Step 4: Make enough sheets for the project
Reproduce as many storyboard sheets as you will need for your project.
Step 5: Start drawing
Using your script as a guide, start drawing. Use one frame for every cut, or in animation, one frame per specific gesture or motion.
Tip
Add notes for scenes that require extra attention, such as pans, tilts, crane movements, or zooms.
Step 6: Draw important scenes first on separate sheets
Draw key scenes first on separate sheets, making it easier to rearrange them.
Step 7: Check your script
Continuously check your script. Rearrange parts of the storyboard as you go if you need to make edits.
Step 8: Show it off
Use your completed storyboard to show people how you envision your script coming to life.

Most of this was entirely irrelivant to storyboarding. The face drawing is entirely a topic for a second video I really don't understand why that had to be included here. You could have gotten twice the views if you split it up.
As many others have suggested, it's probably worth changing the title of this video. It was some impressive drawing but I didn't come here for that!
This has almost nothing to do with doing storyboards.
5 minutes of basic storyboarding tips followed by a tutorial of how to draw a face.
This is the opinion of an amateur, but here it goes: Don't waste time making giant draws. Make smaller draws. It's far faster and easier. Keep your efforts in the actual filming process

Excellent video tutorial 10/10
I'm actually kinda surprised. Some of the other comments are correct – this is more like drawing a face for high school art students. I'm not hating. But save the shading of the contours of the face and details of eyes – you don't need them – and get into body language & composition – showing 'action', noting screen continuity, and 'fliping' between frames to reveal cause and effect. – I did like the shot list stuff tho.
A quality presentation with a great and relevant intro. But I think you need to change the title to "How to draw a face for a Storyboard.."

I think you focused more on drawing instead of storyboarding. Now, do I need to make a perfect drawing? Or just simple drawing that shows the important elements of the shot?

Why is everyone so fussed about the blending stump/pencil/rubber. It honestly doesn't make that much of a difference.
What weight is that lead? I'm looking for a heavier weight, and I like the way it applies to the paper.
Solid graphite pencil. Really nice to draw with. I've got a 2B, 4B, 6B and 2H for sketching.

Thanks, NSP! As I say towards the end of the video, storyboards should be quick, clear and simple. Usually when I ask students to storyboard for the first time, they're resistant to the idea because they 'can't draw'. When teaching them storyboarding for the first time, I give them a little theory on faces and figures, plus a few simple sketching activities. They discover that, while they might not think they can draw, they can certainly storyboard.
Thanks for the effort. But in my personal opinion, the video could've been titled: How to draw a face & an eye & some handy gadgets for story boarding. More power.

Thank you for the feedback. Nice to hear from people, even if they think my videos are boring. For storyboarding digitally, I recommend Celtx Shots or Cinemek Storyboard Composer. There are a lot of storyboarding programs out there that have clip art libraries but I've always found them kind of limited. I'd recommend just snapping the shots with your cell phone. It's quick, efficient and easier if you're not great at drawing. Still, basic illustration skills still come in handy.

@CanadaDanProductions Absolutely correct. One of the most frequent complaints I have from students is that they can't draw. I figured I'd give them some advice to make the process a little less daunting. My storyboarding improved considerably after learning a few basic principles for drawing faces, facial features and figures. What I was hoping to impart was some advice to make the process of drawing quicker and less intimidating.
The first bit has general information about what the storyboards are and what software you might use but the last 90% of the video is about how to draw. A storyboard is about sharing a shot by shot vision -your vision- of what the final video will look like with your cast and crew.
