การลำเลียงสารเข้าสู่เซลล์
แบ่งเป็น 2 วิธีคือ
1. การลำเลียงผ่านเยื่อหุ้มเซลล์โดยตรง
แบ่งออกเป็น
1.1 passive transport เป็นการลำเลียงแบบไม่ใช้พลังงาน เช่น การแพร่ การแพร่แบบฟาซิลิเทต ออสโมซิส
1.2 active transport เป็นการลำเลียงที่ใช้พลังงาน เช่น การเกิด NaP pump ในเซลล์ประสาท
2. การลำเลียงผ่านถุงล้อม
แบ่งออกเป็น
2.1 endocytosis เป็นการนำสารเข้าสู่เซลล์ แบ่งเป็น 3 ชนิดคือ
phagocytosis เป็นการยื่นถุงล้อมออกไปโอบล้อมสารที่จะเข้าเซลล์ พบในการกินอาหารของอะมีบา และการทำลายเชื้อโรค ของเซลล์เม็ดเลือดขาว
pinocytosis เป็นการเว้าของเยื่อหุ้มเซลล์เข้าไปด้านใน
receptor mediated endocytosis จะคล้ายกับ pinocytosis แต่จะมีตัวรับเฉพาะ (receptor) ที่เยื่อหุ้มเซลล์ หากสารที่จะเอาเข้าเซลล์มีโครงสร้างเหมือน receptor ก็จะเกิดการเว้าบุ๋มของเยื่อหุ้มเซลล์
2.2 exocytosis เป็นการนำสารออกนอกเซลล์ เช่น การลำเลียงฮอร์โมน ออกนอกเซลล์
