When Traveling Thailand, about an hour outside of Bangkok there is a market in Samut Songkhram.
The main market is a fresh fruit and vegetable market, the other a Fish Market and Wet Market. Combining all kinds of Thai Market.
This place is not just about a Thailand Market. It has a scary train running directly through it!
This is a passenger train still operating that you buy tickets for and ride and a market that vendors still occupy.
Watch these crazy opposites exist side by side! At the sometimes referred to Collapsing Umbrella Market.
The vendors quickly and efficiently repack their produce and canopy, let the train pass and then unpack everything again. This includes a variety of colours, smells and spice produce. Many stalls use the tracks to let the train pass over only covering their produce with a sheet! The train runs over them at the Maeklong Railway.
When a big fast runaway train is not going through the middle of the market, the only place to walk …. That’s right. Walking on the train tracks. What would happen if the train comes off its tracks?

One of the hardest things to do with making lifestyle videos for a YouTube audience is coming up with some catchy titles. Of course, trying to organize our day can also be quite a challenge as well when she doesn’t really know what she wants to do. Today was really no different than any other Wednesday but we did have a bit of a plan when it started only to have that plan waylaid but other influences beyond our control. There is one thing I’m thankful for which is that I really don’t have any pressing plans to do anything specific from a daytoday lifestyle because I’m retired. Our Wednesday lunch was a nonstarter because we gorged ourselves last night with mu kratha (Thai BBQ all you can eat) so we really weren’t in the mood to have a big lunch. She did pick out a nice coffee shop up the road with some local wildlife in the form of some domestic Buffalo.
