King Bhumibol of Thailand: The People’s King พระราชประวัติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวภูมิพลอดุลยเดช ตั้งแต่ครั้งทรงพระเยาว์สมัยประทับอยู่ ณ สมาพันธรัฐสวิส จนถึงวันที่พระองค์เถลิงถวัลยราชสมบัติ ทรงขึ้นครองราชย์เมื่อ พุทธศักราช ๒๔๘๙ จวบจนปัจจุบัน พระองค์ทรงเป็นกษัตริย์ที่ครองราชย์เป็นระยะเวลายาวนานที่สุดในประวัติศาสตร์ชาติไทย ทรงนำพาประเทศไทยผ่านพ้นช่วงเวลาสงครามเย็น การปฏิวัติ และภัยธรรมชาติร้ายแรง นอกจากนี้ พระองค์ยังมีพระราชกรณียกิจมากมาย เพื่อพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตพสกนิกร อย่างเช่น ทรงมีพระราชดำริ ริเริ่มโครงการหลวงกว่า ๔,๐๐๐ โครงการ พระองค์ทรงเป็นพ่อของแผ่นดิน ทรงมีพระเมตตาต่อพสกนิกรทุกหมู่เหล่า จึงทำให้ชาวไทยทุกคนต่างถวายความจงรักภักดี และเทิดทูนพระมหากษัตริย์อันเป็นที่รักยิ่งของปวงชนชาวไทย
